Supporting our neuodivergent community is what is most important to us.
We have several projects currently running aimed to support a wide range of ages and outdoor interests:

Saturday Family Session 10am - 12pm
Saturday afternoon 12.30 to 2.30

Food Growing Cooperative
At the Food Growing Cooperative, we believe in cultivating more than just plants. Supported by funding from The National Lottery, our mission is to create a thriving community space where people can grow fresh, organic produce while learning new skills, connecting with nature, and improving both mental and physical well-being.
How You Can Get Involved
We’re inviting everyone (especially those from the neurodivergent community) to join us
in building a sustainable and inclusive growing space.
Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a complete beginner, we welcome you to be part of this rewarding project.
No prior skills or experience are required, just a willingness to help regularly and get your hands in the soil.
By spending an hour or two with us each week, you’ll not only help plant and maintain our growing spaces but also:
Learn about permaculture: Discover how to grow food sustainably in harmony with nature.
Enjoy time outdoors: Experience the benefits of fresh air, sunlight, and time in green spaces.
Meet like-minded people: Join a supportive community where you can socialise and share knowledge.
Access fresh, homegrown food: Take home a share of the produce you help to grow!
Come and grow with us—it's more than just gardening, it's a way to connect, learn, and thrive together!

Essential Thyme Group
Funded by Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Funding
Essential Thyme - because its essential that we make time for ourselves and Thyme is an amazing healer!
These sessions are designed to offer support and improve well-being and are open to women who support a neurodivergent child in their family and would benefit from some time to engage with other women in a similar situation, within a local urban nature setting.
The sessions will run over 8 weeks, Friday mornings - 10.30am-1pm.
During the sessions we will be offering a wide range of activities aimed at promoting connections and improving mental wellbeing.
Previous participants have said: “It is wonderful having this time each week at Off Grid where we know when we step through the gate we can just switch off and have some time for us”.
Sow n’Grow
Fantastic new group funded by Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Funding
For parents of children under the age of 5, come learn to grow vegetables in a raised bed!
We are running the group through the whole growing calander from March to November!
These sessions are aimed at the parent - to gain more skills; meet other parents of under 5’s; reduce food bills - while you need to have a child under the age of 5, you don’t need to bring them to these sessions if they are in nursery, but if you would like to bring your wee one, we are more than happy to have them along!
